When we first began our own home search ten years ago it was with the goal of finding a home with easy access to Columbia where we both worked, and Towson where our daughter attended school. While house hunting nearby we toured a Patriot Homes model and learned that they had acquired a small plot of land and planned to build four homes in a secluded area just off Old Court Road.

In hindsight it was the lot that we first fell in love with and then the home model choices. As we walked the lot and imagined the home we would soon build, it was the quiet surroundings that made us feel so sure of our decision.

As our family grew with the addition of our two rambunctious boys and a large dog, it was great to live in a home with plenty of space to go on “adventure walks” and ride bikes without worrying about traffic. We also discovered parks and playgrounds close by, an exceptional Martial Arts school in Eldersburg, many choices for grocery shopping and a variety of restaurants within a fifteen minute drive.

As for the house, it's been a wonderful place to relax and entertain, starting with our wedding reception, then hosting our family for the holidays, inviting friends over to watch sports and most recently celebrating our daughters graduation party.

Lastly, because it’s a secluded little community the neighbors all look out for each other but without infringing on each others’ privacy.
