Map-based MLS Search examples
Embedding the map-based search into your website and blog
You can embed the MLS search widget to your existing website and blog. Below is
the live map-based search of Rona Arjomand (Los Altos, CA) embedded for
demonstration.
Map-based MLS Search on your Single Property Websites
For the first time in the real estate industry, you can use your single property
websites published via the RealBird Listing Publisher to distribute your IDX
search to reach buyers via major classifieds portals and search engines .
Below are two examples of such single property sites built with the RealBird
Listing Publisher. Click the pictures to see the live sites in action.
Standalone Map-based MLS Search website
With the RealBird® Map-based MLS Search it is also possible to run the service
as a standalone website with its own domain name. The benefit to you is that
you can promote your MLS search as a branded, dedicated service with an
easy-to-remember domain name on your business card, email and on other websites
and advertising.
See for example Rona Arjomand's website at
http://www.BayAreaListingMap.com
You can purchase a domain name for as low as $1.99 per year
directly from our domain name store
MLS Hotlist Widgets for your blog and ActiveRain sidebar
Hotlist slideshows
Create slideshows of MLS hotlists. Configure your search on your RealBird map
and use the RSS feed via the "Just Listed" button to generate great looking
photo widgets linking visitors to your search application. Below is a slideshow
widget "Luxury Bay Area Homes" for recently listed Single Family homes over $3M
in the Bay Area, and another one showing "Just listed" condos in Palo Alto, CA.
All data is live MLS information, updated daily. You will be able to easily
configure your own hotlist widgets from your RealBird member area.

Dave Robert's ActiveRain blog
Or see examples of this widget embedded on
Rona Arjomand's ActiveRain blog (sidebar).
MLS hotlist widgets in your blog's sidebar
For this example, we are going to use Rona Arjomand's WidgetBox widget for
demonstration. You can also embed this widget on your
ActiveRain blog. The same value proposition also applies to the
slideshow widget above.

Feel free to click-thru to Rona's RealBird Map-based search from the widget.
Note also that visitors can grab the code and distribute it on their own blog
and website. This is truly viral marketing at it's best. With WidgetBox for
instance, you will also get a search engine optimized homepage for your widget.
You can also link here for your clients to customize the look and feel of the
grabbed widget.
The widget homepage of the example widget is:

You can see an example of this widget embedded on
Rona's ActiveRain blog.
Burn your MLS search feed with FeedBurner
You can "burn" your search feeds with FeedBurner. FeedBurner (a Google company)
provides you with advanced features for your MLS hotlists. You can extend your
feeds with additional social and viral marketing capabilities, track access
statistics of your widgets create email signatures of your live MLS hotlist,
banner size headline animators, notify search engines automatically and even
use these widgets on advertising networks. We are going to provide you later
with a dedicated tutorial for all theses exciting features showing all that you
can do with the RealBird MLS Hotlist feeds and FeeduBurner later. Below are a
few examples using some of Rona's hotlists.
Example: Email Signature - turn your emails into lead generators
The example below shows an email signature widget using Rona's "Luxury Bay Area
Homes" hotlist. The widget can be embedded as an email signature and included
with every email sent to your family, friends and clients.
It links back to the MLS hotlist's RSS feed and to ultimately to your RealBird
Map-based search application.

Hotlist banner for advertising networks
Using your RealBird MLS feed burned with Feedburner again. This is a standard
banner size hotlist animator which can be deployed on standard advertising
networks such as Google AdWords or FeedBurner's own.

Dedicated MLS Hotlist pages
The example linked below shows how you can create and share your hotlists using
dedicated websites such as private labeled PageCast created with
PageFlakes.com.
Rona set up a public pagecast marketing for herself by providing a set of
visually impressive, automatically refreshing MLS hotlists at
http://www.PageFlakes.com/RonaArjomand
This service has viral marketing capabilities too: The hotlist widgets can be
shared among PageFlake users or forwarded via email. All shared widgets link
back to your map-based search application for full search and lead capturing.
